- Notes: Journey through Sounds 3-5pm Sept 15th. Sounds of the Body – Early Musical Instruments – Classical Players – Music in the Computer Age Create and experience a journey through sounds. Gradually travel through four stations each with different ways of creating sound and music. From body sounds and early musical throught classical instruments to computer based music. Featuring artists Sanna Valvanne, Kevin Nathaniel Hylton, Ondrej Pivec and Dafna Naphtali. Dafna Naphtali / Music in the Computer Age:: At the electronic music station at Journey through Sounds, participants can experience making music both with computers and their own bodies, using physical gestures with Wii controllers and your own smartphones to control rhythm, tempo, melody and other aspects of a musical composition or improvisation, as well as the parameters of electronic and electro-acoustic sounds.
