Live Sound Processing as Instrument

As an electronic musician I am largely occupied with capturing and manipulation of sound in real time—specifically the sound of instruments being played by other musicians.
Over the years I developed various strategies to “play” sound manipulations in musically reactive ways, and created a live sound-processing “instrument”.

Here are some examples of projects where I am working this way:

at Harvestworks Live Sound Processing Strategies talk I am joined by (and live-processing) Robert Dick (bass flute), and Satoshi Takeishi (percussion).

at Festival Audio Tangente in a duo with Luis Tabuenca (percussionist/curator)
(Burgos, Spain Oct. 2013).   Duo CD “Index of Refraction” forthcoming.

with Jen Baker (trombone) at Electroacoustic Improvisation Summit (NYC Jan 2016)
